Self-Care
Self-care is so important to do daily, maintaining your wellbeing and personal health should be number 1 on your list.
Setting time aside to focus on yourself, making sure that you put it on your to-do-list, or it will be lost or forgotten.
For many years my husband would ask me if you were on an airplane and something went wrong, who’s mask do you put on first; “yours, or the person sitting next to you”? I would always answer the person sitting beside me. My husband would then say, “how can you help someone if your struggling yourself.” I didn’t understand his line of thinking; I am not a selfish person. I realized If you don’t look after yourself there is no way you can help someone else. That is why self-care is important for us to recharge mentally and physically, remember that we are all deserving of self-compassion and love.
Now I make sure that I check in with myself numerous times a day, and listen to what my body and mind needs. Once I get home and have everything settled I start my bedtime routine of self-care. If you’re looking for some self-care ideas, I have listed it below.

Going for a walk
